Welcome to the new Intelligentsia Web site. It is very much a "work in progress" site right now, but more information will appear over time. Please make contact via phone or e-mail for details of anything that interests you. 7th March 2007. Red Griffin Records extend their reach into the live music scene with the now well established "Time For Heroes" series of events. Having worked tirelessly to run these live music nights for some months at the Hollybush pub in Enfield, they are now venturing over to Oakwood and the "19" Club to provide a platform for emerging local bands such as The Retro Crooks and Vinyl Teeth. It is ISandL's honour to support Red Griffin Records in this exciting project to bring live music to the young (and not so young!!) in the Enfield area. 7th April 2007. The biggest "Time For Heroes" evening to date at the "19" Club on Thursday 5th April, with The Paddingtons headlining a top quality show. ISandL provided all the sound and lighting infrastructure for this prestigious night. 20th May 2007. Approximately £3000 of Intelligentsia PA equipment was stolen from the Trent Park Golf Club in Oakwood, North London recently, and I am keen to retrieve it if at all possible. A reward of £200 is on offer for information that leads to the recovery of the equipment. to see a list of the stolen items. 31st August 2007. The final components are being gathered to complete an ISandL PA installation at the Bull & Butcher in Whetstone, North London. This pub has a superb venue, and an extremely keen landlord - a rare combination these days. A "shakedown" Sinnerboy gig has already taken place under the tutelage of Pete Feenstra, with a lot more to come. ISandL is proud to be associated with this exciting venture. 7th December 2007. The Bull & Butcher venue hosts Devon Allman's "Honeytribe". This show represents a landmark for Intelligentsia by providing sound, lighting and engineering for this world-class band. With Greg Allman as your Dad, it would be difficult not to be a brilliant musician, but this is a band that collectively make great music. 22nd August 2008. The Bull & Butcher re-opens as The Real Music Club. A thorough refurbishment of the bar areas adds a more sophisticated look to the establishment, and the new name gives an even clearer indication of the direction this popular venue is heading in. Additional PA equipment brought in to further improve the sound quality and coverage for deserving audiences. 23rd September 2008. ISandL takes a step into the provision of services for the corporate market. We were supporting The Giraffes who played at a prestigious Gala Dinner Dance that took place at the Radisson Portman Hotel, London. February 2009. Pete Feenstra launches two new venues in North London - Joe's Garage in Whetstone and the Buzz Club in Barnet. ISandL is proud to provide sound and lighting for these exciting new live music ventures. The Rollin' Stoned (perhaps the definitive Stones tribute) and the Billy Walton Band have already entertained appreciative audiences at these venues. 14th March 2009. The Real Music Club in Whetstone, North London relaunches as the iBar. Now offering a sumptuous lounge and club environment, iBar continues to use ISandL provided sound & lighting equipment to create an exciting night-time destination. 24th June 2009. The Live Room music venue in Palmers Green is announced. ISandL is proud to be involved with the specification and installation of sound & lighting equipment in this exciting new venture from the people who brought you Liberty Hall Studios Vince Cooper: *vince.cooper@isandl.co.uk, (07831 855460
